== Plot summary ==
''Revolution World'' is set in a fictional town in near future Texas after an ecological disaster has significantly changed the global political and economic situation. Combustible fuels have largely been replaced by either expensive fusion based vehicles or alternative fuels. As a result, it is often more economical to develop a biological solution to a problem and ship either the breeding stock or seeds instead of the final product.
Clio Somata is a genetics researcher and biologist for the Floracopia Cooperative, where it becomes clear that someone is trying to steal her research and ruin the company. Clio's work involves unnatural and often dangerous biological creations such as fire-breathing cows, ninja pomeranians, and marijuana grenades. Fortunately, Clio has Seth Boucher on her side, a computer security researcher for a company that has recently moved to the area. Seth and Clio's relationship gets off to a rocky start due to their combined social inneptitude. The story has a strong overarching Libertarian theme and is influenced by the Texas Secession Movement.
